Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the belief that the act of creating is a healing experience. I utilize a variety of color and design, to allow myself the freedom of creating what is within. As both an artist and art therapist, I engage in abstract, expressive art where the process holds more weight than the final product. Through the use of vibrant color, intuitive design, and spontaneous mark-making, I allow myself the freedom to create from within: unfiltered and unstructured.
