Virtual Sketchbook Club

  • This offering will include monthly sketchbook prompts to create art, connect through chat or video, listen to calming music, and provide encouragement to continue the art process for all.

This will be a space to carve out time for self-care & build routine in our creative practice. You are free to use the art materials that you are interested in.

This is not an art class where we will be critiqued for our work. We will have the opportunity to hold up our art to the camera if you wish to share with the group!

Making art is far more than just a creative pastime—it’s a powerful activity that nurtures the mind, body, & soul.

Art workshops offer an enriching experience for individuals by fostering personal growth, creativity, & community connection.
Here are some of the key benefits:

  • Participants can explore their thoughts and experiences in a visually expressive way. This can be restorative and empowering.

    No art experience is required.

  • These workshops bring people together in a safe, supportive space where they can share their art process. This fosters a sense of belonging, reduces feelings of isolation, and strengthens communal bonds. Whether you’re talking to other participants or not, being connected in a virtual or in-person space while creating, is magical.

  • Art allows individuals to reflect on their inner world. Making art can serve as a form of self-exploration. There are many natural healing properties with art making.

  • When creating art, we are typically fully immersed in the process, staying present to the here and now. Engaging in art can feel like a meditative practice of being in the ‘flow.’
